Welcome to Inner Balance Therapies. My name is Lisa, and I am a qualified counsellor, life coach, and Reiki practitioner dedicated to supporting people on their journey towards healing, growth, and emotional wellbeing.
I offer a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore life’s challenges at your own pace. My approach is holistic and person-centred, recognising the deep connection between mind, body, and emotional health.
Alongside my counselling qualifications, I am trained in trauma-informed counselling and currently studying somatic counselling for complex trauma. This allows me to support clients with greater understanding of how trauma can affect both the nervous system and everyday life, helping to gently reconnect with a sense of safety, balance, and self-awareness.
Whether you are seeking support through difficult experiences, looking for personal growth, or wanting to restore inner calm and balance, I am here to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and care.

You may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or disconnected from yourself and others. Life experiences, stress, trauma, loss, or ongoing challenges can leave you feeling stuck, misunderstood, or struggling to cope. At times, emotions can feel difficult to manage, affecting your confidence, relationships, or sense of inner peace. You do not have to face these feelings alone. Taking the first step towards support can feel daunting, but it can also be the beginning of healing, self-discovery, and creating a more balanced and fulfilling life.

I believe that every person’s healing journey is unique, which is why I offer a tailored and individual approach to therapy and wellbeing. Together, we can explore the services I offer — including counselling, life coaching, Reiki, and trauma-informed approaches — to create a therapeutic experience that feels supportive, empowering, and personal to you. I am currently studying Somatic Therapy for complex Trauma plus Nervous system regulation -Polyvagal, Somatic, Mindfulness interventions for Trauma, Anxiety and Emotional Regulation.
