Reiki Master Training
Exciting news! I am going to complete my Reiki Master Training on Friday 3rd July.
This will deepen my understanding of Reiki and strengthen my confidence and expand the ways in which I can work with my clients. Every Reiki session is tailored to each clients need, with the aim of promoting wellbeing and relaxation.
Whats going on behind the scences?
As part of my commitment to providing the highest standard of care, I am currently undertaking training in Somatic Therapy for Complex Trauma.
Throughout my work, I have developed a particular interest in understanding how trauma affects not only the mind but also the body. Traumatic experiences can influence the nervous system, physical sensations, emotions, and the way we respond to stress long after the event has passed.
This training is helping me deepen my understanding of the mind-body connection and the ways in which trauma can become held within the body. It explores body-based, trauma-informed approaches that support emotional regulation, increased self-awareness, and healing.
My aim is to continually develop my knowledge and skills so I can offer the most effective, compassionate, and evidence-informed support to my clients. As I progress through my training, I look forward to integrating this understanding into my therapeutic practice where appropriate, helping clients feel safer, more connected to themselves, and better equipped on their journey towards healing and wellbeing.
